Cinemark Theaters holds “Hunger Games” food drive for UNC

Cinemark Theaters in Moosic held a food drive for United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania that coincided with the release of the much-anticipated movie “The Hunger Games”. Throughout the weekend of the premiere, food, as well as monetary donations, was collected at the theater in exchange for raffle tickets to win movie-themed prizes. The food drive supplied UNC with 5 barrels of items and money raised was used to restock Angel’s Attic, UNC’s emergency food and clothing bank. Accepting the donations are (from l-r) UNC’s Director of Development Nancy Dressel and Executive Director Michael Hanley from Cinemark’s General Manager Stephanie Jones and Senior Assistant Emilie Deiter.
