Executive Director attending White House housing forum

United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s Executive Director Michael Hanley is in Washington, D.C. today, Wednesday, April 18, to participate in a housing forum at the White House. Mr. Hanley is joining senior Obama Administration officials and fellow leaders from other cities in Pennsylvania to discuss programs and initiatives to help responsible homeowners and struggling communities that have been hard hit by the housing crisis.

Senior White House and Agency officials will discuss the foreclosure settlement, President Obama’s new housing initiatives and legislative proposals impacting housing reforms.

The event is hosted by the White House, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Department of the Treasury and the Department of Agriculture.
