SCOLA Recognizes Tutors During National Volunteer Week

United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania honored their SCOLA Volunteers for Literacy tutors as part of National Volunteer Week. The program currently has 63 tutors who help teach adult literacy and English as a Second Language to individuals in Lackawanna County. UNC’s Deputy Executive Director Lisa Durkin and Director of Community Education and Revitalization Stephanie Bressler proceeded over the recognition.
