A taste of New Orleans recently came to the Radisson Lackawanna Station as United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania (UNC) celebrated their 14th Annual Mardi Gras Celebration. The event featured fortune tellers, southern cuisine, entertainment by Doug Smith’s Dixieland All-Stars, and a variety of gaming tables.

The event, presented by PNC Bank and Bank of America, raised almost $17,000 for UNC’s emergency food and clothing bank. Angel’s Attic provides more than 20,000 individuals each year with clothing, food, and household items free of cost.
