Cabrini Apartments

The Cabrini Apartments, located in West Scranton, has been housing individuals and couples aged 62 and older since opening its doors in 1991. Until 1974, the site contained the St. Frances Cabrini School which was founded personally by Mother Cabrini herself in 1901. The 16 units that make up Cabrini, located in the 100 block of St. Frances Cabrini Avenue, range in size from 490 square feet to 610 square feet. Each unit has one bedroom, a bathroom, a living room, a kitchen, and closet space. Amenities of the building include:

  • Handicap accessibility
  • Laundry room
  • Community room
  • Adjacent to the West Side Senior Center
  • Close to restaurants, banks, the bus stop, the post office, and grocery stores
