Christmas Toy Store
The Christmas Toy Store transforms UNC's gymnasium into a holiday wonderland filled with new toys. Families whose child attends Project Hope Summer Camp or our Childcare Program are invited to come to the toy store to select a Christmas present for each of their children, ages birth through 12.
Our Project Hope parents love the excitement of coming to UNC's Christmas Toy Store because they experience the true love of their community. Upon entering, the parents are greeted with hot chocolate and cookies as they hear and see what their children did at camp. They then move on and pick out a toy of their choice for each child with the help of UNC staff.
Just imagine the fun the parents, UNC staff and volunteers had participating in this program and made it memorable for everyone. Toys used in the Christmas Toy Store come to UNC through donations by area residents, businesses and organizations.
