Community Services Programs

UNC has a variety of community services programs, which fall under the following categories:

  • Housing & The Homeless

    UNC has been on the forefront in developing programs to address the housing needs of community members, including homeless individuals and families. Click above for more details on UNC's Housing Programs.

  • Criminal Justice Programs

    UNC staff work toward restoring and empowering offenders, and responding to individual needs. UNC supports the offenders while encouraging them to understand, accept and carry out their obligations. Click above for a more in depth description of these programs.

  • Crisis Intervention

  • HIV/AIDS Intervention & Education

    You can make a difference in the war against HIV/AIDS. UNC provides HIV/AIDS education and prevention is six counties in Northeast PA: Lackawanna, Luzerne, Pike, Susquehanna, Wayne and Wyoming. Click above to find out more.

  • Advocacy

    As part of UNC's mission, we create programs to improve peoples' quality of lives. Through two of our newest programs, UNC aims at helping residents in Lackawanna County to sustain independent living free from discrimination. Click above to learn more.
