Condemnation Program
This program provides emergency, short-term housing and living expenses for Scranton residents who have lost their home or apartment due to condemnation. UNC coordinates an emergency response system whenever a family is dislocated when the housing inspectors determined their residence uninhabitable.
Families are also provided assistance with finding new housing if they cannot return to the condemned property.
