One Stop Shop
The "One Stop Shop" for housing is a clearinghouse for information and assistance regarding housing and housing related services.
The "One Stop Shop" offers:
- Housing counseling and guidance to people in need of safe, decent and affordable housing
- Valuable resources on housing issues and housing related services
- Information seminars and general advocacy services
- Budgeting, mortgage and credit counseling
- Assistance with landlord/tenant issues
- Follow up and follow through coordination when needed
- Assistance with completion of Housing Applications
UNC’s "One Stop Shop" can also direct clients to resource persons who are familiar with the legal and financial processes involved in securing and maintaining affordable housing.
