Spotlight Youth Theater

This program offers students the chance to explore their own talents through discussion and reflection, attending workshops and local productions in the Scranton area, field trips and putting together their own show. The students will learn about the various forms of performing art and gain an appreciation for them.

Auditions for this program will be held at the end of September every year. Students of all performing arts are welcome to audition such as musicians, singers, actors, comedians, etc. Students who enjoy behind the scenes work are also welcome to join the program.

This program is student-driven and they will be able to lead discussions, pick topics for workshops and be able to choose what shows to perform. This year’s performance of “Jungle Book” will be held December 9-10 at the West Side Senior Center. For more information on the program, please contact April Holgate at 570-961-1592.
