Beginning on July 6, the South Side Farmers’ Market will officially open its doors for the fourth year. The market will be hosted every Saturday through October 26 from 10AM-2PM at the Scranton Iron Furnaces. This year’s market has added new farmers and will feature such products as baked goods, produce, meats, eggs and herbs from local places such as Muellers Vegetable Farm, Sugar Loaf Herb Farm, Wood Winery and more. Also, the second Saturday of every month will host kids crafts, and the third Saturday of every month will feature spinning wheel and knitting demonstrations. Buy fresh! Buy local!
