Community Health Worker:  United Neighborhood Centers is searching for someone with good communication skills, positivity, and the ability to encourage others while being a positive role model in the way they feel about managing their own chronic illness. Upon the completion of paid training, Community Health Workers lead workshops in the community, assist people in feeling more in control of their health, and help build self-confidence in managing their lives with a chronic illness. This is a part-time and flexible position, workshops typically occur between 9am-5pm Monday-Friday. Summer Camp Counselors – Project Hope – UNC is looking for summer Camp Counselors for Project Hope. Project Hope is a 4-week summer Day Camp for children aged 5-12. Camp runs from July 9th to August 3rd, 2018. We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic, self-starters who enjoy working with children and developing an enjoyable camp atmosphere through creative projects. Individuals are needed to implement activities and work in conjunction with other staff members. Telehealth Intervention Program for Seniors (TIPS) Get experience working with clients in the healthcare field while making a difference for seniors in your community. Duties at UNC include: Working with the clients and healthcare providers, and conducting independent research to develop a more individualized approach. The VISTA will be responsible for forming the overall program structure and strategic planning for this expansion.

Camp Kelly Basketball Directors Needed – UNC’s Camp Kelly is looking for Basketball Directors to run our Boys and Girls Basketball programs. Applicants should have playing and coaching experience, experience working with children, and a can-do attitude. We’re seeking individuals who can balance being responsible and fun.
