UNC receives donations from JLS

UNC is grateful to be one of the local agencies who benefited from the Junior League of Scranton’s (JLS) month-long Community Food Drive. JLS collected nonperishable items during March in more than 30 locations throughout Lackawanna County. UNC staff and their families helped JLS sorting through the food received from their drive and brought several boxes of donations back to UNC’s Angel’s Attic Food and Clothing Pantry.

On April 15, JLS delivered more donations, hundreds of dollars’ worth of gift cards from local grocery stores, and a monetary donation all to help the clients served by UNC’s Community Services Department. Thank you to all the JLS members for helping to stock our shelves. We are especially grateful to our community for supporting JLS and their project.
