NEPA RISE is now Enrolling!

NEPA RISE is now enrolling for Fall 2024. RISE is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in gaining short-term credentialing with higher-wage employment opportunities. RISE offers various support services to ensure participants have the tools, resources, and confidence to succeed in their education and employment. This is done through one-on-one coaching, case management, and cohort instruction. If education has been a goal that seems out of reach due to the cost of childcare, transportation, or other financial concerns, RISE may be the answer. It has locations in Lackawanna and Luzerne Counties.

UNC is proud to be a partner of this workforce program with Johnson College, Luzerne County Community College, The Institute for Public Policy & Economic Development, The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, and the William G. McGowan Charitable Fund.
