4th Annual Pine Brook Family Arts Festival Brings the Community Together

United Neighborhood Centers’ Pine Brook Revitalization Plan hosted its 4th Annual Pine Brook Family Arts Festival this past Saturday, April 24, 205 — and not even a little rain could stop the fun! Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Cottera Energy and Peoples Security Bank & Trust, more than 320 neighbors came together to celebrate art, creativity, and community spirit.

Held at John Adams Elementary School, the event was filled with vibrant activities for families and children of all ages. Guests enjoyed an afternoon packed with cool crafts, colorful temporary tattoos, and an array of incredible balloon creations. There was no shortage of treats either — attendees were treated to free pizza donated by Antonio’s Pizza and delicious free ice cream from the Scoopz Ice Cream Truck.

We were thrilled to be featured on WNEP’s newscast, highlighting the incredible energy and turnout from our community. Click here to watch.

The Pine Brook Family Arts Festival is part of UNC’s broader commitment to the revitalization and celebration of the Pine Brook neighborhood. It’s a day where families come together, new friendships are formed, and neighbors leave feeling inspired and connected.

We are deeply grateful to our sponsors, Cottera Energy and Peoples Security Bank & Trust, for making this event possible. Special thanks also to John Adams Elementary for hosting us each year, and to all the volunteers whose hard work made the festival such a success.

We can’t wait to see you all again next year for even more fun, creativity, and community pride!
