Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supports Feed-A-Friend

Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply once again demonstrated extraordinary generosity through its annual employee food drive competition in support of the Feed-A-Friend campaign. This year, more than 500 employees participated, dividing into two teams—Team Judy and Team Chuck—for a friendly challenge that delivered big results for the community.

Together, the teams collected a combined 5,774 pounds of food, along with additional monetary donations. In total, Dempsey contributed the equivalent of $6,744 in support of local families.

Team Judy gathered 2,317 pounds of food, while Team Chuck collected 3,457 pounds, making this one of Dempsey’s strongest food drives to date. These contributions will help stock UNC’s Angel’s Attic Food and Clothing Pantry and support hundreds of families across Lackawanna County during the holiday season.

We are deeply grateful for Dempsey’s long-standing partnership, community spirit, and commitment to helping neighbors in need. Their annual effort continues to make a meaningful difference for families facing rising food costs and other essential needs.
