UNC Promotes Audrey Golosky to Director of Community Education

United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania (UNC) has announced the promotion of Audrey Golosky to Director of Community Education.

Golosky began her journey with the organization in 2008 as a volunteer with the SCOLA program and officially joined UNC in 2019 as a Family Literacy Instructor, Tutor Coordinator, and Case Manager for the Refugee Resettlement Program. She brings extensive experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) across public schools, higher education, and community-based settings.

At UNC, Golosky has been instrumental in expanding English as a Second Language and Citizenship programs, which served more than 670 students from over 50 countries, speaking more than 20 languages, in 2025. She led a team of staff and volunteers that supported 25 individuals in achieving U.S. citizenship last year.

Golosky has played a key role in supporting individuals and families new to the community, expanding programs such as Job Readiness and school-aged tutoring, and strengthening services through her work in refugee resettlement. She also completed immigration law training to assist clients with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) documentation.

For the past three years, she has served as Assistant Director, helping to lead the development of innovative and responsive programs. In her new role, Golosky will continue to foster a welcoming, supportive environment where individuals can access services and feel empowered to succeed.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her son, Pavel.
