Register Today for the 2026 BK5K & Fun Walk!

Registration is now open for the 2026 BK5K & Fun Walk, hosted by Fastenal on Saturday, July 18 at Nay Aug Park. Last year, UNC was honored to receive a $3,000 grant through this event, helping purchase new classroom equipment for our Progressive Center

Whether you’re a runner, walker, or simply looking for a fun family activity, this community event has something for everyone.

• Family-friendly event
• Children 12 and under participate free

Early Bird Pricing (through June 26)
• 5K: $17 ($20 after June 26)
• Fun Walk: $10
• Kids 12 and under: Free

The organization with the largest turnout will receive a $2,000 grant. Gather your family and friends and join the fun while supporting local nonprofits.
