UNC Offers Mental Health Screenings to Seniors

This past year has been challenging. From fear and uncertainty to prolonged isolation, the COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on everyone. Seniors who are at higher risk of contracting the illness have been particularly affected. That’s why  UNC is offering free, confidential mental and emotional health screenings to seniors to help identify resources that may be helpful during this time. Those over 60 who complete the screening will be entered to win a gift card. To complete the screening, call (570) 346-6203 ext. 111.

Support for this program is provided by the United Way of Lackawanna and Wayne Counties and the Lackawanna County Area Agency on Aging.
