Project Hope, the day camp run by United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania, is offering free at-home programming for children this summer. Take-home boxes for campers will include crafts, scavenger hunts, activities to promote mental and physical health, and other fun and educational activities for children ages 5 to 18. Food will be provided in the boxes for all children 18 and under in the household. Boxes will be available for pick-up once a week for six weeks from July 6 to August 13 at various locations throughout Scranton and Carbondale.
Registration for Project Hope’s at-home programming is required. Please visit https://www.uncnepa.org/campkelly/ to register or call 570-344-9882. Funding for Project Hope is provided by a Lackawanna County Community Arts and Culture Grant and the Overlook Estate Foundation as well as M&T Bank, Landmark Community Bank, and Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials through the PA Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program.
