UNC Pine Brook Family Arts Festival

United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s Pine Brook Family Arts Festival was held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at John Adams Elementary School in Scranton, bringing together families for an afternoon of creativity, activities, food, and community fun.

Children participated in interactive activities, created artwork, played games, and took home hand-colored Pine Brook tote bags overflowing with their creations. Two lucky children also went home with brand-new bicycles. Guests also enjoyed free pizza and ice cream throughout the event.

UNC extends sincere thanks to John Adams Elementary School for welcoming the event and helping make the day possible.

A special thank you also goes to the University of Scranton Occupational Therapy Department for organizing many of the engaging hands-on activities enjoyed throughout the day, and to Antonio’s Pizza for generously donating pizza for attendees.

UNC is grateful to the many volunteers, staff members, families, and community supporters who helped make the event possible and continue supporting efforts to strengthen and revitalize the Pine Brook neighborhood.

The Pine Brook Family Arts Festival was made possible through support from Peoples Security Bank & Trust and Coterra Energy through the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development’s Neighborhood Assistance Program.
