Our UNC Locations: Scranton, Tunkhannock, Jessup, Carbondale, West Pittston.  This position is located in Scranton, PA.

Hours: Full-time position working 40 hours per week Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Chief Executive Office, the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support, ensuring efficient office operations.  They are responsible for managing and distributing information among staff, performing clerical duties, assisting daily office needs and general administrative tasks.


  • Answers and directs phone calls.
  • Organizes and schedules appointments.
  • Plans meetings and takes detailed minutes.
  • Writes and distributes email, correspondence memos, letters, and forms.
  • Assists in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Orders office supplies.
  • Maintains vendor relations and makes recommendations on products.
  • Maintains contact lists.
  • Books travel arrangements.
  • Provides general support to visitors.
  • Acts as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
  • All other duties as assigned.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Bachelors degree is preferred.
  • Minimum two years of administrative experience in an office setting is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize work is required.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills is required.
  • Knowledge of office management systems, equipment, and procedures is required.
  • PA Child Abuse Clearance and NSOR Clearance are required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 is preferred.
