Our UNC Locations: Scranton, Tunkhannock, Jessup, Carbondale, West Pittston. This position is located in Scranton, PA.

Hours: Full time Monday through Friday 7am-3pm or 6am-2pm.

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Director of Maintenance, the Janitor performs specific cleaning and custodial tasks in the general upkeep, sanitation, and cleanliness of multiple facilities.

Tasks will include:

• Cleaning of classrooms, hallways, gymnasiums, bathrooms, kitchens, walls, floors, fixtures, and furniture.
• Vacuuming, moping, sweeping, scrubbing, wiping, and sanitizing.
• Maintaining stock levels, cleaning equipment and refilling dispensers.
• Coordination with Director of Children/Teens and Director of Maintenance.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from multiple locations, mileage reimbursement included.
• Carrying up to 20lbs.

Education/Experience/Licensure:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to work in childcare facility is required.
