Position Overview

Camp UNC is hiring Kitchen Support Staff to assist with daily food service operations during the summer camp season. This is an excellent opportunity for high school or college students looking for a fun, fast‑paced summer job. No prior kitchen experience or certifications are required; training will be provided.

Required Qualifications

• No prior kitchen or food service experience required
• Willingness to learn and follow directions
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time
• Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented

Key Responsibilities

Kitchen & Food Service Support

• Assist with basic food preparation tasks
• Help with meal service, setup, and cleanup
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, organized, and stocked

Compliance & Safety

• Follow basic food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness guidelines
• Maintain a safe and orderly work environment
• Report spills, safety concerns, or equipment issues to supervisors
