Our UNC Locations: Scranton, Tunkhannock, Jessup, Carbondale, West Pittston. This position is located in Tunkhannock, PA.

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Director of Facilities, the Camp Maintenance Associate is responsible for handling preventative maintenance, emergency repairs and maintenance projects throughout Camp grounds.

This position is a temporary full time summer position starting in May and ending September 1st.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains campgrounds by operating necessary grounds care equipment such as mower, tractor, chain saws, etc., in safe and efficient manner.
  • Performs janitorial and general maintenance duties in buildings and areas designed. (Sweep, scrub, wax floors, wash windows and screens, pressure wash, etc.).
  • Disposes of trash and waste from camp facilities and campground daily.
  • Preforming preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities/properties.
  • Meeting deliveries and escorting vendors to the appropriate room to unload bulk items.
  • Ensure equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly, maintaining tool inventory.
  • Report major damages to the Director of Facilities.
  • Communicating regularly with the Director of Facilities and participating in regular meetings to assure readiness of the facility for all activities.
