Van Driver – Teacher’s Aide
United Neighborhood Centers of NEPA (UNC) is one of the largest, and longest operating, nonprofit organizations in the region. As our Van Driver/Teacher’s Aide, It is your primary responsibility to provide transportation and assist in implementing daily program activities to the children we serve.
Monday, Wednesday – Friday 7:30am-9:30am, 2:00pm-4:00pm – Tuesday 7:30am-9:30am, 1:30pm-4:00pm
We are willing to hire for separate morning and afternoon shifts or for one person to work both shifts.
An aide is responsible for assisting in the implementation of daily program activities. Ultimately, their responsibility is to support the classroom teacher in supervising the children, serving meals/snacks, and keeping the classroom clean and safe. Transport children to/from school and on field trips as necessary. Prepares documentation (e.g. daily mileage and condition reports, incident/accident reports, state required documentation, disciplinary and positive behavior reports, mileage, etc.).
